i'm officially end my first year of pharmacy course~
there are three months of sem break for me to recharge my enerygy!!!
hmmmm...
what i had done throughout the first year?
there is nothing special in fact~~haha
by the way, the most interesting subject i had in sem 2 was 'compounding and dispensing'
the learning outcome of this subject is to expose us to the works that a pharmacist do in workplace
what i had learnt from this course are reading prescriptions from licensed medical practitioner, practice to use MIMS, compounding drugs, familiar with the drugs' basic functions or adverse reactions, demonstrate a real situation to educate patient in using medicament (this is an exam that contribute to 20% of the overall result) and so on and so forth
we also done different types of medicament that we will always encounter in the future in lab
here are the masterpiece from me =)
* simple syrup made from folic acid tablets
* calamine cream
* triturate powder with lactose
* hypertonic eye drop
yes~ you can feel how much i enjoy during the lab~ haha
and the most crucial part is that the lecturers are helpful and experienced !!
also, there will have a similar subject in the coming year 2 so i hope i can enjoy the course though it's super hectic than year 1 =P
PS：can't wait for my 2 weeks attachment during this sem-break XD
